Join us for La Tavola Italiana di Persona of the Seattle-Perugia Sister City Association, our in-person Italian conversation group on Sunday, November 30, from 11:00 a.m. to noon at Caffè Umbria Westlake, located at 1201 Westlake Ave N, Seattle 98109. Their delicious coffee and the beautiful Deruta ceramic decor make this a truly delightful place to gather, while continuing to support our long-time sponsor.

Our Tavola Italiana Virtuale meets twice a month, on the first and third Sundays from 11:00 a.m. to noon, and we usually host one in-person gathering each month. These in-person sessions are announced here on our website and through our social media channels.

As our group loves meeting at Caffè Umbria, we are now transitioning from Pioneer Square to the Westlake location. With the city growing more vibrant and lively, with frequent events and activities downtown, this new venue offers us a great opportunity to enjoy a fresh setting while staying connected to our traditional sponsor.

The Tavola Italiana is a program of the Seattle–Perugia Sister City Association. Our meetings are open to all who feel able to converse in Italian, at any level. The important thing is simply to speak in Italian. For example: “Come si dice ‘pomegranate’ in italiano?” is perfect, while “How do you say ‘pomegranate’ in Italian?” is not.
